The restaurant sources its oysters from local and international suppliers, ensuring that each oyster is fresh and shucked to order. Oyster lovers will be spoilt for choice, with a range of oyster dishes to choose from, including Raw, Steamed, and 3-cheese. Moreover, 2nd Street Oysters are served with a range of sauces and condiments that complement the natural flavor of the oysters. You can enjoy your them with classic cocktail sauce, mignonette sauce, or lemon wedges. But 2nd Street Oysters is more than just that. The restaurant also offers a wide selection of other seafood dishes, including clams, mussels, shrimp, and more. Because of my cravings, we went to the nearest branch which is the one in V.A Rufino, Makati. Here, I ordered the raw, steamed, Rockefeller, Garlic overload, and 3-cheese. All of them are in set of 6-pieces orders I shared with my colleague.

The Menu and what we ordered:

  • Rockefeller – 6 PCS (PHP 265)
  • Steamed – 6 PCS (PHP 270)
  • Raw – 6 PCS (PHP 230)
  • Garlic Overload – 6 PCS (PHP 285)
  • Three Cheese w/Bacon – 6 PCS (PHP 310)
  • Shrimp & Scallop Baked Rice – (PHP 450)

Final Thoughts:

To my knowledge, I had to stuff my stomach with something else first before eating raw oysters to refrain from an upset stomach. So we left the raw for the last! I can tell that the oysters were fresh because they didn’t taste that fishy. It’s just… *chef’s kiss*! If you’re looking for a drink to pair with your meal, 2nd Street Oysters has you covered. Moreover, their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they’re always happy to help you with anything. 2nd Street Oysters is definitely a seafood restaurant that should be on every foodie’s list to visit in the Philippines. The fresh and delicious oysters, the wide selection of seafood dishes, and the laid-back atmosphere all come together to create a dining experience that is truly unforgettable.
