My Experience
Now, let’s dive into the heart of the matter – the food. One of the remarkable things about ABCT Kitchen & Store is their portion sizes. Each order of ramen is generously served and can easily be shared by two people. This let us get great value for our money and allowed us to sample more dishes during our visit. ABCT Kitchen & Store takes pride in serving authentic Japanese dishes that tantalize your taste buds. During our visit, we had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes, and here’s what we tried:
Tofu Wakame Soup (Php 120): This appetizer, though a tad bitter, is an excellent choice to start your meal. The bitterness adds a unique depth of flavor, making it an intriguing beginning to your culinary adventure.
Seafood Ramen (Php 540): A delightful bowl of noodles filled with an array of seafood. The broth is rich and flavorful, making each slurp a memorable experience.
Furaido Poteto (Php 270): As the name suggests, it’s just Fried Potatoes in Japanese Accent/Pronunciation. Like a Mojo or Fries.
ABCT Special Ramen (Php 540): As the name suggests, this is the restaurant’s special ramen. You’ll find two slices of tender, melt-in-your-mouth pork, a perfectly soft-boiled egg with a creamy yolk, two charming quail eggs, sweet corn for a touch of sweetness, and Nori seaweed that infuses an authentic umami essence into the broth. It’s a combination of various ingredients that come together to create a harmonious and satisfying dish.
Ebi Tempura (Php 360): The Ebi Tempura is a highlight at ABCT Kitchen & Store. The outer layer is delightfully crunchy, while the inside boasts fresh and generous pieces of shrimp. It’s a must-try for tempura lovers.
Soft Shell Crabs: Similar to tempura but with a twist, the soft shell crabs feature crab meat. The outer layer is equally crispy, while the inside is succulent and generously portioned.
Mini Japanese Grocery
Adding a unique twist to your visit, ABCT Kitchen & Store boasts a mini Japanese grocery store right inside the restaurant. This hidden gem offers a diverse selection of Japanese ingredients, snacks, and even kitchenware. It’s a fantastic opportunity to stock up on Japanese essentials and explore new flavors in your own kitchen.
