Bayview Park Hotel Manila is one of Metro Manila’s oldest and most iconic hotels. Since its inception in 1930, it has a rich history dating back over a century. The hotel’s classic Art Deco design and strategic location along Roxas Boulevard, with a picturesque view of Manila Bay, have made it a prominent landmark in the city. Despite enduring challenges, including World War II, the hotel has remained resilient and committed to providing exceptional hospitality. Over the years, it has undergone renovations and upgrades to blend its classic charm with modern amenities. Bayview Park Hotel Manila continues to be a favorite destination for leisure and business travelers, offering a perfect blend of history, comfort, and warm Filipino hospitality. As a cherished institution, it stands as a testament to Manila’s growth and transformation throughout the years. All of which I had an opportunity to see and experience during my stay.
It also has observed many historical events that have influenced the Philippines. Amidst political changes, economic growth, and cultural revival, the hotel warmly welcomes diverse travelers. Throughout its existence, Bayview Park Hotel has welcomed numerous esteemed guests, among them former U.S. President Bill Clinton and the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Additionally, the hotel has gained popularity as a favored filming location for various movies and television productions, being featured in several prominent films and TV shows. Bayview Park Hotel Manila has 283 comfortable and well-designed rooms and suites that perfectly combine modern conveniences with traditional touches. These rooms reflect the hotel’s rich history, giving a feeling of nostalgia while ensuring all the comforts one could ask for. During my stay, I was thrilled to discover that many of the rooms provided breathtaking views of Manila Bay, a beautiful reminder of the city’s natural splendor.
My Stay
During our recent visit to Manila, we opted for the Bayview Park Hotel’s deluxe room, which came at a reasonable rate of Php 6,700. To our delight, the hotel graciously upgraded us to a newly renovated room showcasing their commitment to customer satisfaction. With two comfortable queen-sized beds, or perhaps a little bit smaller. A bonus to our booking was the complimentary buffet breakfast, a treat we looked forward to the next morning. The room boasted a partial view of Manila Bay, offering a serene backdrop to our stay. The color palette of brown, white, and beige created a calming atmosphere, complemented by a well-maintained shower area that exuded a sense of newness. The shower facilities were top-notch, and we appreciated how impeccably clean and well-maintained everything looked. It felt like a high-quality 4-star accommodation, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Bayview Park Hotel.
The staff’s kindness didn’t end there; they went the extra mile by allowing us to conduct an ocular visit to explore the other categories of rooms and suites they offer. While some were still undergoing renovation, we appreciated seeing the transition from the old design to the new one, which was more appealing and modern. To make our stay even more memorable, the hotel surprised us with a complimentary afternoon meal consisting of delectable cakes, delicious Pancit, and other delectable treats. This gesture was unprecedented in our hotel experiences, and it made us feel truly valued as guests featuring and reviewing the hotel. All in all, our time at the hotel was outstanding. The friendly and accommodating staff, the opportunity to explore different room options, and the complimentary meal made it a truly remarkable stay. We left with fond memories and a sincere desire to return in the future.
