I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lipa, Batangas, and I must say, I was blown away by the food they served. This cozy eatery is a must-visit for anyone who loves Lomi, a popular Filipino noodle soup dish. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately drawn to the aroma of the food being prepared in the kitchen. The restaurant had a warm and cozy atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We were supposed to order their famous Gigantic Overload Lomi, which is known to be a must-try for Lomi enthusiasts. But we were just 5, and it’ll be too much for us. So we chose the smaller version instead. But before we get to that, Lomi is a staple noodle soup dish in Batangas. Corcolon Lomi Haus gave it a twist by giving generous servings and overloaded toppings on it.
This dish is served with overloaded toppings, including chicharon, rebusado, fried chicken, dynamite, shanghai, and lechon kawali, making it a flavor-packed and satisfying meal. It was hard to fathom if it was a Lomi with toppings or toppings with Lomi. The Gigantic Overload Lomi is worth Php 1,299 (Panalong Combo Giant) and can serve up to 12 people, making it an excellent choice for group dining or family gatherings. Since there were only five of us, we decided to order their Panalong Combo Mini, which was said to be good for eight people. However, to our surprise, we couldn’t even finish half of it. In fact, we think it can still feed 10 people. The dish was really worth the price of Php 999, and we were able to take home a lot of lomi and toppings. Which we saved for our lunch and dinner. The toppings were great viand with our rice.
Toppings with Lomi? or Lomi with Toppings?
However, one thing I didn’t particularly like about the dish was that it lacked soup. The soup was too thick and sticky, and it stuck to the mouth. Nevertheless, the dish was really good and delicious, and it was only the second-best to my homemade Lomi. Apart from their Gigantic Overload Lomi, Corcolon Lomi Haus also offers other variations of Lomi, including the classic Lomi Special and Lomi Regular, which are also worth trying. They also serve other Filipino comfort food like sisig, crispy pata, and pancit, among others. In addition to their delicious food, Corcolon Lomi House also has a coffee shop and a pasalubong area where you can buy snacks and delicacies to take home. They offer a wide variety of coffee blends, from hot to cold drinks, perfect for pairing with their Lomi dishes. I ordered Kapeng Barako from them for Php 60 ($1.07)only.

The pasalubong area offers an array of locally sourced snacks and treats, such as crispy dilis, longganisa, and espasol, among others. These make for great souvenirs or gifts to bring back home after your visit to Corcolon Lomi Haus. It’s a great way to take a piece of Batangas with you and share it with your loved ones. Furthermore, I had a great experience at Corcolon Lomi Haus. The food was amazing, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant’s ambiance was perfect for a cozy dinner with family and friends. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience the best Lomi in Lipa, Batangas.
