If you’re in Nagpayong, Pasig City, and looking for a spot where your appetite meets value, Dads Burger & House of Unlimited is the new kid on the block. Opened in September, this joint offers a delicious dining experience with its unlimited samgyupsal deal at only Php 199 per head! This place has been making waves with its affordable prices and expansive offerings. They offer unlimited slices of pork belly, with side dishes like melted cheese, kimchi, lettuce, and corn to round out the experience. It’s a meat lover’s feast without the hefty price tag. Aside from the unlimited samgyupsal, they also have a la carte orders of burgers, fries, pasta, and chicken wings. Moreover, customers can choose among 14 flavors for chicken wings, including classics like Original, Soy Garlic, and Sriracha. Whether you’re craving classic comfort food or willing to try something new, their options won’t disappoint.
In just under four years, Dads Burger & House of Unlimited has managed to carve a niche for itself in the competitive food industry. The restaurant’s growing presence is evident with approximately 10 branches, strategically located across Marikina, Antipolo, Binangonan, Pasig, and Quezon City. This expansion shows widespread appeal as well as the consistent quality of its offerings. Moreover, the Pasig branch of Dad’s Burger & House of Unlimited can accommodate up to 50 people at a time. They are open from 12:30 PM – 11 PM daily. For context, Samgyupsal is a popular Korean BBQ dish featuring thick slices of pork belly grilled at the table. The name is a combination of two Korean words: “sam” meaning three, and “gyupsal” meaning layers of meat. Typically served with a variety of side dishes. This kind of business has been around the country for more than a decade now.
My Experience
We were happily surprised during our visit to Dads Burger & House of Unlimited, especially since we weren’t expecting much at first. Having experienced disappointing unlimited samgyupsal with similar deals before, we didn’t expect much from this restaurant. Assuming it would follow the same pattern. However, it exceeded our expectations in terms of both service and food quality. But before I explain that, our first impressions were a bit mixed. Securing a parking spot was a challenge due to the restaurant’s location right alongside a narrow road. After enduring traffic and parking at a gas station a 7-minute walk away, we realized it was a minor inconvenience. Considering the restaurant’s budget-friendly approach, we understood their limitations in choosing a more convenient location. Upon entering, we were greeted by friendly and accommodating staff. The restaurant, though a bit humid, was well-ventilated, shaded, and partly open.
Moreover, their tables were custom-made with a hole in the middle to house the stove, a thoughtful touch we appreciated. The servings were generous, and the meat quality exceeded our expectations. Despite our hesitation to order extensively due to the low Php 199 per head charge, the staff encouraged us to enjoy as much as we wanted. Which we thought was very generous of them. The set included not only the main meats but also an array of sides such as sauces, cheese, lettuce, kimchi, rice, and fishcake. Given the affordability of the set, we found these offerings more than enough. To put things in perspective, other unlimited samgyupsal restaurants typically charge between Php 500 to Php 700 per head. Therefore, Dads Burger & House of Unlimited is indeed an excellent deal. Good food, great service, and not-so-bad experience. I must say, every penny spent here is worthwhile!
