Escobar’s Steakhouse – Trying the famous steakhouse in QC!

As a steak lover, I’m always on the lookout for places that serve up quality cuts without the hefty price tag. So when I heard about Escobar’s Steakhouse, I knew I had to check it out. Founded in 2021 by Dr. Deniel Escobar, this place has been making waves for offering top-notch steaks at prices that won’t break the bank. Dr. Escobar, a meat industry expert, set out to bring great steaks to the masses. His dreams are seen in both the menu and their warm service. His passion for quality which began during the pandemic is showing fruition. It turns out Escobar’s Steakhouse is expanding fast. There are already three branches in Quezon City and one in Caloocan. Additionally, they’re planning to open more in Bulacan and Marikina soon.

Despite the challenges of launching a new restaurant during such a crisis, Dr. Escobar’s vision has flourished. He has extensive experience in the meat industry as a meat trader and founder of Meat Hook Philippines. With his background, he’s able to build the success of Escobar’s Steakhouse. Dr . Escobar’s knowledge and passion for high-quality meat have played a crucial role in shaping the restaurant’s offerings. Consequently, Escobar’s has successfully navigated challenges and established itself as a popular choice among diners.

My Experience

I decided to check out their Parañaque branch on 249 Aguirre Ave. It’s cozy, with seating for around 50 people. But here’s the thing—Escobar’s isn’t just about steaks. As I looked around at other diners’ tables (don’t judge, we all do it), I noticed people enjoying a variety of dishes. The Angus Beef Belly seemed like a popular choice, and the Pork Ribs looked absolutely mouthwatering. I also heard a few folks raving about the Smoked Tomahawk. However, it has to be ordered a day in advance to get that perfect flavor. Their menu isn’t limited to dinner, either. They’ve got pasta, a selection of beers and wines, and even breakfast options. And if you’re dining with a group, they’ve got family bundles that range from PHP 1,699 to PHP 4,399, so there’s plenty to share.

Customers can choose between sitting indoors or outside, which is nice if you’re in the mood for some fresh air. As I browsed the menu, I was struck by how affordable everything was. I mean, where else can you get a decent T-bone for PHP 200? And if you’re really in the mood to splurge, the Smoked Tomahawk at PHP 2,500 is awaiting. But let’s be real—I was here for that budget-friendly experience, so I decided to start with the USDA Porter House which costs Php 1,588. It was cooked just the way I like it—juicy, flavorful, tender, and medium well. The Jave rice and the gravy complement the steak as well. It has a mix of smokey, sweet, and spicy flavors. Escobar’s truly doesn’t skimp on quality, even for their more affordable options. Each bite also shows the hard work in sourcing and preparing their steaks.
