Glorietta Mall, located in the bustling heart of Makati City, is a shopaholic’s haven and a food lover’s paradise. It is a large retail complex spanning multiple interconnected buildings. It consists of five sections: Glorietta 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Each section has its own unique mix of stores and amenities. As I entered this sprawling retail complex, I couldn’t help but be overwhelmed by the sheer variety of stores and dining options. The mall spans multiple levels, housing an impressive array of shops, boutiques, and restaurants. Navigating through the spacious corridors, I could sense the excitement in the air, eager to explore what awaited me. Join me on a journey as I recount my visit to Glorietta Mall, from discovering the colossal Adidas flagship store to savoring a delightful Omurice at Coco Ichibanya after an exhilarating trip to the Top of the Glo.
Glorietta Mall provides entertainment options for visitors of all ages. It features a state-of-the-art cinema complex where movie enthusiasts can enjoy the latest blockbusters. The mall also houses recreational centers, such as gaming arcades and play areas for children. Which is a huge plus for me being a mom with two lovely kids. This place has been one of our go-to places since we’re also living nearby. Glorietta Mall frequently organizes special events, promotions, and sales throughout the year. These include fashion shows, product launches, concerts, art exhibits, and seasonal celebrations, attracting both locals and tourists alike. In addition to shopping and dining, Glorietta Mall offers various services and amenities to enhance the overall shopping experience. These include banking and financial services, mobile network centers, beauty salons, spas, pharmacies, supermarkets, and convenience stores. They have almost everything you might need at home, school supplies, and office stuff!
The Adidas Flagship Store
Before anything else, I’d like to give a brief disclaimer that I am not sponsored by Adidas! The mall is known for housing flagship stores of popular brands. One of the highlights of Glorietta Mall is undoubtedly the Adidas flagship store. This sprawling haven for sports enthusiasts and fashion-forward individuals alike showcased an extensive range of athletic apparel, footwear, and accessories. From classic designs to cutting-edge innovations, the store catered to every taste and preference. It boasts an expansive 1,500 sqm of space that offers a spacious and immersive shopping experience on multi-level floors. The flagship store showcases a wide range of Adidas products, including athletic apparel, footwear, accessories, and sporting equipment. It features collections for men, women, and children, catering to diverse sporting activities and fashion preferences. Since I’m here already, I ended up buying an Adidas cap for myself! Couldn’t say no to temptation!
As a flagship store, it often carries exclusive and limited-edition items that may not be available at other Adidas retail locations. These exclusive offerings can include special collaborations, unique designs, or products that are launched specifically at flagship stores. For those who like to play basketball or are fans of famous NBA players, you can find some limited-edition shoes and jerseys here! Moroever, the Adidas flagship store in Glorietta 3 aims to provide customers with an engaging and interactive shopping experience. It may feature innovative displays, interactive technology, and dedicated areas for product trials or customization, enhancing the overall customer journey.
Omurice at Top of the Glo’s Coco Ichibanya
After a long walk in Glorietta Mall, we decided to replenish and find lunch at Top of the Glo. Perched atop Glorietta Mall, the Top of the Glo offers a Japanese Theme setting with al fresco dining options from different restaurants. One food place caught my attention, the Coco Ichibanya. This restaurant attracts visitors with its promise of authentic Japanese cuisine. Particularly its delectable Omurice—a fusion of fluffy omelette and savory fried rice. I had to try two of their best-selling Omurice meals, The Fried Chicken Omelette Curry and Pork Cutlet Omelette Curry. First up was the Fried Chicken Omelette Curry, a dish that combined tender pieces of fried chicken with a fluffy omelette atop a bed of fragrant rice, all smothered in their renowned curry sauce. The crispy exterior of the chicken gave way to tender meat, while the runny omelette added a delightful creaminess.
Next, I tried the Pork Cutlet Omelette Curry, a delicious creation that blended a crispy breaded pork cutlet with a runny omelette enveloping the flavorful rice. The combination of the juicy pork cutlet, fluffy omelette, and rich curry sauce were all lingering in my taste buds. In addition to that, the strong kick of the spicy curry creates a memorable dining experience for me. I didn’t expect it to be this spicy when it’s still on a mild level! It was super good though! Whether you prefer mild and gentle flavors or crave a fiery kick, Coco Ichibanya allows you to specify the desired level of spiciness. Aside from the exceptional Omurice dishes, Coco Ichibanya also offers a range of add-ons and toppings to further enhance your meal. From extra vegetables to different protein options, diners can customize their orders to create a truly personalized dining experience.

How to get there?
Via Public Transportation
- Board the MRT train heading towards the northbound direction if you’re coming from the Taft Avenue Station, or southbound direction if you’re coming from the North Avenue Station.
- Alight at the Ayala Station, which is the nearest station to Glorietta Mall.
- Exit the MRT station through the designated Ayala Center exit. Follow the signs and directions within the station premises to locate the proper exit.
- Once outside the station, walk towards the Ayala Center complex. You may need to cross a pedestrian footbridge or navigate through the underground walkways, depending on the exit you took.
- As you approach the Ayala Center, you will see signs directing you to Glorietta Mall. Follow these signs to reach the mall entrance.
- Glorietta Mall is composed of multiple sections (Glorietta 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5). Pay attention to the signage indicating the specific section you wish to visit or ask mall personnel for guidance.
