It offers an electrifying nightlife experience. Iconic bars like Revel and Xylo stand as beacons of entertainment, drawing crowds seeking a perfect blend of music and cocktails. I also noticed that there are a lot of side-street bar trucks surrounding the Uptown Mall where people can chill in an al fresco setting. They blast music that uplift the spirits and energy of people passing by. Furthermore, the neon lights surrounding each cart or truck added charm to the scene, inviting people to sit and relax. I would’ve stayed as well if only the martial or authority hadn’t stopped me filming my vlog.
This experience goes to show that they have strict rules and regulations when it comes to filming. They only allow people who are using smartphones for video filming and not “professional cameras”. However, at that time, we were using a DJI pocket mini camera which is just small and handy. There’s also a not-anymore-secret-spot within Uptown Mall, called “CARGO FISH AND BURNT BAMBOOS.” Here, I enjoyed drinks in a relaxed outdoor setting, which even has a separate area for smokers. It’s a great place to chill out and indulge in snacks like fish chips, chicken fingers, and fries. We had our snack here before heading back home. You can locate this spot on the 5th floor of the mall, conveniently located next to the food court. I assure you, it’s a fantastic discovery well worth repeated visits. Uptown is definitely one of the hang-out spots in BGC you shouldn’t miss.
Forbes Town
Forbes Town in BGC is more than just a residential area. It’s a lifestyle destination that offers something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a vibrant night out, diverse culinary experiences, opportunities for an active lifestyle, or a pet-friendly community, Forbes Town has it all. Forbes Town in BGC is named after Forbes Park. One of the most upscale and exclusive residential communities in the Philippines. Forbes Park itself was named after William Cameron Forbes, who served as the Governor-General of the Philippines during the early 20th century, from 1909 to 1913. Tribute to his service and to recognize his role in the country’s history. The neighborhood is situated in close proximity to the Manila Polo Club, Manila Golf and Country Club, Forbes Park, and Dasmariñas Village. As a result, inhabitants can savor unmatched and sweeping vistas of the nearby Manila Golf Course, along with the skyline of Makati City.
I noticed that a lot of foreigners and wealthy-looking people chill around this area. Probably because the culinary options here are not only diverse but also of the highest quality. The location offers easy access to various recreational spots, making it a perfect place for outdoor enthusiasts. Whether you prefer jogging along tree-lined paths, cycling through scenic routes, or simply taking a leisurely stroll in beautifully landscaped parks, Forbes Town provides ample opportunities to stay fit and enjoy the outdoors. Furthermore, it goes the extra mile by warmly welcoming pets into its community. The Fort
The Fort’s name pays homage to Andres Bonifacio, a revered Philippine revolutionary hero. Here’s an exciting insider tip: Despite its high-end reputation, The Fort is known for surprisingly affordable drinks. Whether you’re enjoying happy hour specials or exploring local watering holes, you’ll find that indulging in your favorite beverages won’t break the bank here. For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, The Fort boasts a selection of cozy cafes where you can savor your favorite brews and pastries. And if you’re a fan of Korean cuisine, there are numerous samgyupsal restaurants that will satisfy your cravings for delectable grilled meats and banchan. Furthermore, during our walk here, I noticed that a lot of corporate workers would chill in this area for a cigarette or coffee break. Probably because it’s also near corporate buildings. Making it one of the favorite hang-out spots in BGC for everyone.

Thus, becomes the favorite place to go for the residents and teenage people looking for a budget-friendly but classy night out. Especially it is where NECTAR, a famous bar is located.
