Megaworld is known for its ambitious projects and commitment to transforming urban landscapes. Conceived the idea of creating a world-class hotel in the heart of Entertainment City, Philippines. The origins of Kingsford Hotel Manila can be traced back to the early 2010s when Megaworld Corporation identified the potential of Entertainment City as a premier tourist destination in the region. With its strategic location near Manila Bay and the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the area held promise as a hub for leisure, entertainment, and gaming activities. This led to the concept of building a luxury hotel that would cater to the discerning needs of both local and international travelers. After extensive planning and meticulous design work, construction of Kingsford Hotel Manila commenced in the latter part of the decade.
In the third quarter of 2020, Kingsford Hotel Manila officially opened its doors to the public. Unveiling its 18 levels of sophistication and elegance. The grand opening was met with much anticipation and excitement, as the hotel promised to bring a new level of luxury and opulence to the Manila hospitality scene. As part of its dedication to providing guests with a regal travel lifestyle, the hotel offered 529 tastefully furnished rooms, each designed to offer maximum comfort and style. The incorporation of modern amenities and state-of-the-art facilities further elevated the guest experience. As a traveler always looking for exciting destinations, I went to the Kingsford Hotel Manila. The hotel’s commitment to service excellence was evident in every interaction with the staff. From the warm welcome at check-in to the friendly greetings in the hallways, I felt like a valued guest throughout my stay.
My Stay
During our stay at Kingsford Hotel Manila, we were fortunate enough to secure a Deluxe Twin Room at an incredible price. While the published rate for this room type was P6,300, we managed to snag an amazing deal through Agoda and paid only P3,300! It was truly a steal considering the luxurious amenities and breathtaking views the room had to offer. The Deluxe Twin Room was a spacious 26 sqm haven. Featuring two comfortable twin beds that ensured a restful night’s sleep. Including a mini-fridge was an added convenience, allowing us to store snacks and drinks whenever we desired. One of the highlights of the room was the floor-to-ceiling glass window that provided a mesmerizing view of the cityscape. We were treated to panoramic vistas of the bustling Entertainment City, the iconic Okada Manila, and a glimpse of the inviting pool on the 6th floor.
Moreover, the head staff at Kingsford Hotel Manila was an absolute gem. During our stay, she went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. She also graciously arranged for us to have an ocular visit to explore other room types available in the hotel. From the Deluxe Queen Room to the Junior Suite and Executive Suite. She made sure we had a thorough understanding of the options available. Her knowledge and insights were invaluable, helping us make an informed decision about our future stays at the hotel. Aside from the rooms, she took us on a tour of the hotel’s amenities as well. Throughout the ocular visit, she was friendly, approachable, and attentive to our needs and inquiries. Her warm demeanor and genuine interest in making our stay memorable set her apart as one of the best hoteliers we’ve ever encountered.
