New Coast Hotel Manila; My Presidential Suite Visit!

New Coast Hotel Manila - ANAther Travel Show

New Coast Hotel Manila is one of evolution and transformation, marked by changes in ownership and rebranding that have shaped it into the luxury destination it is today. In the late 1990s, the foundations were laid for what would become New Coast Hotel Manila. The ambitious project aimed to bring a world-class hospitality experience to the heart of Manila. The initial plan was for the property to open as a Sheraton Hotels property, with grand visions of a luxurious hotel and casino. However, due to various factors, the opening was delayed, and it wasn’t until September 2004 that the hotel finally welcomed its first guests. At this point, it debuts as the Hyatt Regency Hotel & Casino Manila, proudly bearing the name of the famous Hyatt hotel chain. The hotel was an instant success, offering contemporary design, spacious rooms, and world-class amenities to guests from around the world.

A significant change occurred on January 1, 2015, when New World Hotels took over the management of the property. With this transition, the hotel underwent a rebranding process and was relaunched as New World Manila Bay Hotel. New World Hotels brought their unique approach to hospitality, blending luxury and personalized service to enhance the guest experience. In 2020, the hotel embarked on another exciting chapter in its history. Undergoing a thoughtful rebranding process, it proudly unveiled its new name – New Coast Hotel Manila. This name change marked a defining moment for the hotel, signifying its commitment to offering a coastal-inspired experience that captures the essence of modern luxury. The hotel’s 298 guestrooms offer both comfort and luxury in mind. Each room is tastefully furnished, reflecting warm and refined generosity. Its dedication to providing a safe and COVID-free environment further reinforces its reputation as a destination of choice in Manila.

My Stay

We decided to book a Superior Room directly through their website. To our surprise, we found an enticing offer of PHP 4,227.65 for the room, with its impressive features of 35 square meters, two twin beds, and a stunning cityscape and pool view. Curious to explore our options, we also checked Agoda for room rates. We found that the Superior Room was at PHP 5,197.86 on Agoda, showing that their rates were not always lower than booking directly through the hotel’s website. The room was elegantly designed, exuding classic luxury with its warm beige and red tones, creating an inviting ambiance. Upon our arrival, the hotel staff pleasantly surprised us with an upgrade to a higher-level room, ensuring we could indulge in an even better view. To our delight, our upgraded room also offered a partial view of Manila Bay, adding a touch of coastal charm to our stay.

The Presidential Suite at New Coast Hotel Manila truly embodies luxury and grandeur. When we had an ocular visit to the suite, we were amazed by its immense size and opulence. With a sprawling 190 square meters, it exudes a sense of regal elegance. The nightly rate of PHP 40,650.41 perfectly aligns with the exclusive and extravagant experience it promises to guests. Boasting a fully equipped kitchen and a separate dining area for 6 people. The spacious living room offers elegance and comfort, an ideal setting for gatherings and relaxation. A generous balcony shows breathtaking views of the surroundings showing the cityscape. Furthermore, it has a decent-sized office space, and a luxurious bedroom, featuring a king-size bed. Promising a peaceful and restful night’s sleep with a well-appointed toilet and bath, where one can unwind and indulge in luxurious amenities.
