Ninoy Aquino Parks & Wildlife Center

The Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center is a 24-hectare wildlife sanctuary and park located in Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines. It was named after the late President Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. He is a prominent political figure in Philippine history. The park is home to a wide range of flora and fauna. Moreover, the park’s main attraction is its diverse collection of wildlife, which includes Philippine eagles, snakes, hornbills, cassowary, gibbon monkeys, and tigers. But I can tell that they keep them clean and healthy, they were in good physiques and the environment wasn’t too smelly.

A Paradise tucked in the City

Aside from its collection of flora and fauna, the park also offers recreational facilities such as picnic areas, jogging paths, and bike trails. Visitors can also rent bicycles, golf carts, or electric cars to explore the vast park. At first, I thought I didn’t expect the place to be this big. Moreover, despite its location in the city, the park maintains a refreshing ambiance, providing visitors with a temporary escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life. It is a great place to relax, unwind, and enjoy some time in nature. Another notable feature of the park is its large lake, which serves as a popular spot for fishing enthusiasts.
