My Stay at the Okada Manila, is This the Best Hotel in Manila? Let’s find out!
It was Chinese New Year, and I was thinking about how we might mark the event and make the most of the day in the Philippines. My first idea was to travel to Binondo or Quezon City, both known for hosting spectacular Lunar New Year celebrations.
Thankfully, the occasion brought with it some good fortune in the shape of a complimentary ticket from the luxurious Okada Hotel, which relieved me of the stress of picking where to go.
Okada Manila
The 44-hectare Okada Manila in Parañaque has a five-star hotel, casino, 21 dining options, an entertainment area, and The Fountain, the world’s biggest multicolored flowing water feature.

As it was my first time visiting the expansive resort, I was awestruck by its magnificent surroundings. It was so enchanting that I felt like I was in a Disney palace.
The lobby alone might make you feel the hotel’s price tag since the ceiling and walls have a unique artistic approach, making it ideal for selfies and IG-worthy photographs.

After checking in, they gave me a red pocket full of tea bags and chocolate coins. Yay!!!

Pearl Deluxe Twin Room
You’ll feel right at home in the 60-square meter Deluxe Room, which offers a choice of king-size or twin beds outfitted with Sealy mattresses, a bathtub fitted with a rain shower, and premium amenities.
And as soon as I walked in, I fell madly in love with the room’s pastel color scheme and the tanned furniture. Everything inside is glossy and expensive-looking.
If you smoke, request a smoking room for your convenience and safety.
Make sure to ask for a hotel with a window that looks out onto one of Manila’s world-famous sunsets so you can take in the breathtaking scenery.

POOL
After spending a couple of hours in the comfort of my room, I changed into my swimsuit, ready to enjoy OKADA’s three different pools.

Coral Wing Pool
The Coral Wing Pool is great for cooling down in the summer warmth. You may also order a choice of fruit drinks to complete your relaxation.

The Cove Manila Pool
The Cove Manila Pool will provide a unique swimming experience; as it is indoors, you will not have to worry about the sun.
There are also stores nearby where you can order different kinds of food.
The Cove is a popular venue for concerts, bars, and late-night gatherings, among other activities.

The Retreat Spa Pool
Okada’s world-class spa offers a wide range of unique services to help you look and feel your best. This spa promises to beautify, clean, exfoliate, detoxify your skin, and massage away your stress.
They also have barbershops, beauty salons, nail care, gym and other services.
And to be honest, the Retreat Spa Pool is my favorite because, after long, exhausting days of taking care of my family, it helped me to unwind and feel at ease in its soothing waters.

Medley Buffet
Since our stay at the hotel would not be complete without food, we made our way to Okada’s Medley Buffet to sample some of the restaurant’s freshly prepared meals.

This all-day dining restaurant is an innovative open kitchen that allows its customers to see Filipino Chef Guillermo Aspera and his team of experienced chefs in action as they produce culinary delights using only the freshest and best ingredients in front of visitors.

Watching your meal being prepared by trained professionals is a gratifying experience.
Seven buffet stations emphasize essentials and delicacies worldwide, starting with healthful salads, cheese, appetizers, and fresh seafood.
There are also daily offerings of Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Korean, and Italian cuisines.
Medley Buffey also offers rotisserie and grills that provide flawlessly cooked meats infused with the rich aromas and flavors of herbs and spices.
If you are also a fan of sweets, try the dessert section that features a vast selection of inventive chocolate creations, native delicacies, rice cakes, handcrafted pastries, and cakes, as well as chilled goodies.

One of the things I enjoyed about their dishes was the roast beef, my favorite roast beef of all time.

SHOPS
There are still many restaurants available, and if you are concerned about your budget, you can rest assured that there is plenty of budget-friendly dining options and fast food chains in this hotel.
In Okada, you won’t have to travel anywhere else because everything you need can be found right here. This includes grocery stores, luxury brands, and retailers selling health and beauty products.

Casino & Events
And if you’re looking for something more grown-up to do, there’s also a sizable casino here where you can try your luck; just be sure to be careful with how much money you put in. 🙂
Ample facilities are also available for parties, gatherings, and other events.
Okada Manila is truly an All-In-One destination for the resort, shopping, gaming, restaurants, entertainment, events, and club, among many others. And they will truly provide you with an unforgettable and spectacular resort experience.

FOUNTAIN
You cannot leave Okada until you have witnessed their spectacular fountain show. It’s simply a shame that it was closed when I visited there, but at least I have a reason to return soon.
Best Hotel in Manila?
Okada, in my opinion, is the nicest hotel in Manila. I had a wonderful time there. Even if the accommodations are a little pricey, the entire experience will be worth the price.

HOW TO GO?
Okada Manila is located at New Seaside Dr, Entertainment City, Parañaque, 1701 Kalakhang Maynila. It is close to the Mall of Asia (MOA) and Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX).
As a precaution, you’ll need your COVID-19 vaccination card if you visit this place. So always get it ready before you go!
Thank you for joining me in this hotel experience. You can view my past trip adventures on ANAther Travel Show for future reference; you’ll know more about the location and won’t get lost!
See you and love lots from Ana!
