Pasig Mega Market; Exploring & Shopping

Pasig Mega Market "Pasig Palengke" - ANAther Travel Show

As a frequent shopper, I’ve always been on the lookout for great places to shop for fresh produce and other food items. One market that I’ve heard a lot about is the Pasig Mega Market. It is located in the bustling city of Pasig in the Philippines. I’ve heard that it’s a huge wet and dry market with two floors. So I decided to check it out for myself. Upon arriving at the Pasig Mega Market, I was immediately struck by the sheer size of the market. The market is located on a busy street, and it was bustling with activity from both vendors and shoppers alike. There were vendors selling all sorts of fresh produce, from fruits and vegetables to meat and seafood. The aroma of fresh seafood filled the air, and even though it was a bit fishy, I could tell that it was all very fresh.

I even bought some meat and fish for myself. At that time, the onion’s price was dramatically bigger and it made quite a discussion in the social media. So I bought myself some and was surprised by the Php 200/kilo price! As I made my way to the second floor of the market, I was surprised to find that it was a whole new world. The second floor was dedicated to dry goods, and it was filled with a variety of vendors selling everything from clothing and shoes to toys and electronics. It was like walking into a shopping mall, but with more affordable prices. Moreover, somewhere on the ground floor, I didn’t know there was a food court area. Seeing the food on display, I immediately felt hungry so we stopped by for a quick lunch. Here they sell Lomi, goto, halo-halo, and more.

An unforgettable shopping experience

One of the things that I appreciated about the Pasig Mega Market was the diversity of the vendors. There were vendors selling both local and international products, which made it easy for me to find what I needed. The vendors were also very friendly and willing to negotiate prices, which made shopping there a much more pleasant experience. Another thing that stood out to me was the cleanliness of the market. Despite the fact that it was a wet market, everything was very well-maintained and clean. The vendors made sure to keep their stalls clean and organized, which was a testament to their professionalism and commitment to their craft.

Overall, I had a great experience shopping at the Pasig Mega Market. It’s definitely worth a visit for anyone looking for fresh produce, dry goods, or just a unique shopping experience. Just make sure to bring your bargaining skills, as haggling is the name of the game here. Furthermore, the Pasig Mega Market is a must-visit destination for any avid shopper. With its diverse selection of vendors, affordable prices, and commitment to cleanliness, it’s no wonder that it’s such a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. So, whether you’re looking for fresh produce or a great deal of clothing, be sure to check out the Pasig Mega Market. You might also want to check out Marikina Public Market if you’re looking for more markets nearby.
