SARSA by Chef JP Anglo

During my culinary exploration of Rada Promenade in Makati City, one restaurant that stood out and left an indelible impression on my taste buds was SARSA. Led by the famous Chef JP Anglo, SARSA celebrates the rich and diverse flavors of Filipino cuisine. SARSA’s mission is to showcase the depth and complexity of Filipino flavors, taking traditional dishes and elevating them with Chef JP Anglo’s unique culinary vision. The restaurant pays homage to the diverse regional cuisines of the Philippines, incorporating authentic ingredients and cooking techniques to create a truly immersive dining experience. One of their standout dishes is the Chicken Inasal, a classic Filipino favorite. The grilled chicken is marinated in a blend of vinegar, calamansi, and spices, resulting in a tender and flavorful masterpiece. The chicken is then charred to perfection, imparting a smoky aroma and a crispy skin that adds an irresistible textural element to each bite.

SARSA understands that great dishes are made even more memorable when complemented by well-crafted sides and condiments. Alongside the Chicken Inasal, you’ll find an array of delectable accompaniments such as garlic rice, pickled vegetables, and tangy sinamak (spiced vinegar) dipping sauce. These elements harmoniously enhance the overall dining experience, offering a delightful balance of flavors. SARSA’s inviting ambiance contributes to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. The warm lighting, rustic decor, and friendly staff create an atmosphere that is both cozy and welcoming. Whether you’re dining with friends, family, or even on a solo culinary adventure, Rada promenade provides a comfortable setting where you can savor every mouthful of their exceptional cuisine.
