I Spent a Day at Solaire Resort & Casino’s Shopping Forum and Lunch at Fresh Buffet!

While staying at a five-star hotel is a goal shared by many, not everyone has the means to do so. But did you know that you can still take advantage of the hotel’s different recreational features even if you don’t reserve a suite?
Like me, I immediately headed towards Solaire’s shopping forum to do a little window shopping and select an excellent restaurant for lunch.
Solaire Resort & Casino
Solaire Resort & Casino has long been renowned as an expensive hotel in the Philippines. It is the first integrated destination resort on an 8.3-hectare site in Parañaque City, Metro Manila.
Solaire’s two towers have 800 luxurious resort-style accommodations. It also features a variety of dining options, great places to play games, and a modern lyric theater.
And, of course, they have a breathtaking view of Manila bay sunset.

Oasis Garden Cafe
This hotel lounge has a captivating atmosphere—it resembles Singapore’s Jewel Changi Airport due to its tropical style that includes little waterfalls.
Their beautiful dining table design will make you want to buy a meal to sit there and relax. You won’t mind because the snacks they’ll provide you are flavorful and ideal for kicking off your Solaire vacation.

Solaire’s Shopping Forum
This place is home to a plethora of upscale stores, including Balmain Paris, Prada, Dior, Steffano Ricci, Versace, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Bvlgari, and Solaire Boutique.
I put my two young daughters’ needs first, so this mom can only afford to window shop for now. But maybe in 10 years, I’ll be able to return and get the shoulder bag I want. By supporting my YouTube channel, you guys might help me reach this goal.

Restaurants
Solaire is home to several excellent dining establishments. My go-to spot is Red Lantern, but I also have my eye on Lucky Noodles, Yakumi, Kiss Korean Grill, and Finestra Italian Steakhouse.

Fresh Buffet
To satisfy my rumbling belly, I decided to dine at Fresh Buffet.
They have a wide variety of food stations with delectable meats, mouthwatering seafood, vegetarian-friendly cuisine, and drinks from across the world served in an open-bar setting.
Chefs are waiting to serve you regional and international delicacies whether you prefer Italian, Japanese, French, Indian, or any other exceptional cuisine.
Just a friendly tip, if you’re going to a buffet, make sure you’re hungry for dishes you don’t often eat. It’s a great way to let yourself eat till you’re stuffed to the gills.

Sea Food
I chose salmon, sushi, squid, and Juicy Tahong or mussels in their seafood section. They are all incredibly tasty, but I like their Tahong since it was so fresh that I can almost taste the ocean in it.

Meat
I enjoyed the tenderness of their roast beef, although it’s not the best I’ve ever tasted.
The meal I liked the most was their Bistek Tagalog or Karne Frita; it had the original flavor of the Bistek I used to eat, but the meat’s smoothness made it more distinctive.

International Delicacies
It was a lucky day for me when I discovered Indian food here. I’ve been watching Facebook videos of tasty street food in India, and I finally got to try some. I first loved the Basmati rice since it is unique, but their Indian Lump Curry was a smash!

Dessert
Their apple pudding had the perfect sweetness to go with a hot mug of coffee. Fortunately, I don’t have an appointment with the doctor that day since, as the saying goes, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away!”

Worth a Try?
Overall, I liked all the cuisines they prepared, and I only paid ₱1,699 for the entire meal. Every Monday through Thursday, they charge ₱1,699 for lunch and ₱2,499 for dinner. Every Friday and Sunday, they are more pricey, with lunches and dinners costing ₱2,499.
This makes visiting during the weekdays your best hope for cost savings.
Yes! it was absolutely worth it. Come here and have fun!
