As a Makati resident, I was thrilled to hear about the opening of Spotted Pig Manila. I had heard so much about their original location in Siargao and was eager to see what they had to offer in the heart of the city. Located on Steban Street in Legazpi Village, the café is just a stone’s throw away from my apartment, making it the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an afternoon break. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the unique décor. The walls are adorned with greenery art and quirky knick-knacks, giving the café a charming and inviting feel. The interior is well-lit and spacious, with plenty of seating options for both solo customers and groups.
On my first visit, I decided to try their Ube Cheesecake, Spanish Latte, Cinnamon Roll, and Katsu Sando Sandwich. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. The Ube Cheesecake was my favorite; it had just the right amount of sweetness, and the ube flavor was not overpowering. The Spanish Latte was also delicious, with a subtle hint of cinnamon. The Katsu Sando Sandwich was perfect for sharing with friends, as it was quite large and filling. One thing I appreciated about Spotted Pig Manila was the reasonable prices. Moreover, their food and beverage offerings range from Php 120 to Php 500, which is pretty average for cafes in Makati. I was pleasantly surprised that I could enjoy high-quality coffee and food without breaking the bank.
Chill and Artsy Cafe
Aside from the food and beverages, what sets Spotted Pig Manila apart from other cafes is its cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Whether you’re looking to catch up with friends, read a book, or work on your laptop, there’s a spot for you in the café. They have everything from cozy corners to communal tables, making it easy to find a spot that suits your needs.
My experience at Spotted Pig Manila was excellent. From the unique decor to the delicious food and beverages, everything about the café was impressive. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great café experience in Makati. Plus, with their daily opening hours from 7AM to 9PM, you can easily squeeze in a visit no matter what your schedule is like. I can’t wait to visit again and try more of their menu offerings! Please note that there is no parking space available at Spotted Pig Manila. Around 2 cars can only fit in front of the cafe, so it’s best to take public transportation if possible. If you do need to bring a car, you may need to find street parking or pay parking in the area. However, parking in the area is limited, so be prepared to walk a few blocks to get to the café.
