How to get there?

Via Private Vehicle:

  • From Manila, take the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) southbound.
  • Continue on SLEX until you reach the end and merge onto the Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR) Tollway.
  • Drive along STAR Tollway until you reach the Batangas City Exit.
  • After exiting, follow the signs leading to Batangas City.
  • Upon reaching Batangas City, continue driving straight on the Batangas-Tabangao-Lobo Road (Batangas-Balayan-Lian-Calatagan Road).
  • Follow this road for approximately 35 kilometers until you reach Calatagan town proper.
  • Once in Calatagan town proper, continue straight until you reach the Calatagan Public Market.
  • From the market, turn left onto the road leading to the Calatagan Lighthouse.
  • Continue along this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach STILTS, located on your left-hand side.

Via Public Transportation:

  • Take a bus bound for Calatagan from the Pasay or Cubao bus terminals in Metro Manila.
  • Inform the bus conductor that you’ll be alighting at Calatagan town proper.
  • Upon reaching Calatagan town proper, you can either hire a tricycle or jeepney to take you to STILTS. Alternatively, you can inquire about available transportation options at the bus terminal.
