The history of The Heritage Hotel in Manila is a fascinating journey that dates back to its inception in August 1994. The hotel was developed to cater to the growing demand for high-quality accommodation in the bustling city of Manila. From its humble beginnings to becoming a prominent 4-star hotel, The Heritage Hotel has played a significant role in shaping the hospitality landscape in the Philippines. The hotel’s location in the core of Manila was strategically chosen to offer guests easy access to various key destinations. With its proximity to the NAIA Terminal 3, international and domestic travelers found The Heritage Hotel a convenient choice. Especially for those seeking a comfortable resting place after a long journey. Over the years, The Heritage Hotel has continuously evolved and adapted to meet the changing needs of its guests. Which I had the opportunity to experience myself this year.
My Stay
Initially, I booked for a superior room which is the cheapest in Heritage Hotel but they upgraded me to a Junior Suite. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the opportunity. The room has abstract paintings by a respected Filipino abstract artist, adding a touch of local artistry to the ambiance. Spanning a generous 52 sqm for Php 12,000 the Junior Suite provided ample space for me to unwind and relax. The suite’s layout was thoughtfully designed. Offering separate areas for sleeping, lounging, and working, ensuring that my stay was both comfortable and productive. The plush furnishings and tasteful decor were in a warm brown, beige, and white palette, creating a soothing and inviting atmosphere. One of the standout features of the Junior Suite was the huge glass windows that offered a captivating view of the bustling road below. The panoramic view of the city was a sight to behold.

The Junior Suite had a maximum capacity of three people, making it an ideal choice for a small group or a family traveling together. The ample space allowed us to move freely without feeling crowded, and the additional guest felt equally comfortable. As an added perk, staying in the Junior Suite also granted me access to the Club Lounge. This exclusive area was a tranquil haven where I could enjoy complimentary refreshments, light snacks, and drinks throughout the day. It was a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring Manila, offering a more private and intimate setting than the main lobby. If there’s a word I could describe The Hotel Heritage Junior Suite, that would be “simple”. Unlike the modern rooms you can find in new hotels, this one gives off a more homey and cozy feeling due to its simplicity.
