Yakikai Unlimited Grill in Tomas Morato, Quezon City, is your next dining destination if you’re a food enthusiast who appreciates the sizzle and aroma of grilled dishes. This restaurant offers a delightful dining experience that centers around the concept of a Japanese All-You-Can-Eat BBQ establishment. It has been serving up exceptional culinary delights since its opening in December 2019. Moreover, the restaurant specializes in providing an array of delectable Japanese dishes. Yakiniku, which translates to “grilled meat” in Japanese, is a dining style where patrons grill their own meat selections right at their table. This interactive and engaging approach to dining is Yakikai’s inspiration. Yakikai Unlimited Grill’s menu boasts an impressive array of choices. Including premium cuts like pork belly, salmon, crabs, oysters, scallops, and tempura. These are just some of the mouthwatering options available for guests to savor to their heart’s content.
But Yakikai goes beyond meats; they also offer a variety of side dishes thoughtfully included to complement the grilling experience. One of the best things about Yakikai is its affordability. The restaurant provides a range of Unlimited Grill packages to cater to different preferences and appetites. Prices range between P499 and P699 per person, ensuring that there’s an option for everyone, whether you’re dining solo or with a group of friends. When it comes to ambiance, Yakikai doesn’t disappoint. Guests have the option to choose from al fresco seating for an outdoor experience, a spacious first-floor dining area, and an additional dining space on the second floor. This ensures ample room for patrons to enjoy their meals comfortably, regardless of their dining preferences. Yakikai Unlimited Grill opens its doors every day from 12 NN to 11 PM, making it a convenient spot for lunch, dinner, or any time in between.
My Experience
Before I dive into my experience with their sumptuous Dynasty Set, I want to mention that our first visit was a bit of a letdown as the restaurant was closed due to renovation. However, this unexpected turn of events led us to discover another hidden gem nearby, 1970 Grill and Shabu-shabu, which is also an absolute must-try. But, of course, the temptation of Yakikai was still calling, so we returned after a week to finally try their offerings. Approaching the restaurant, I noticed that it looked like an old wooden Asian home from the outside, which added to its charm. Little did I know that it was much larger on the inside. We were greeted by the staff’s warm welcome, who were friendly and energetic despite the busy restaurant. For only P699 per person, the Dyanasty set offers almost everything on the menu that is unlimited.

The steak was undoubtedly the highlight of the meal. Each bite was a little bit tender and packed with flavor. The seafood, including oysters and crab, was enjoyable, although the crabs were on the smaller side with less meat. The tempura provided a satisfying crunch and is my favorite, while the sushi offered a refreshing change from the rich flavors of the meats and seafood. We also decided to grill the salmon and scallops, just to be sure they are safe to eat, although they can be enjoyed as is. If you’re in the mood for an all-you-can-eat Yakiniku experience that includes a variety of delectable dishes, Yakikai Unlimited Grill should definitely be on your list.
